Students develop a winning mattress recycling program

Students at Belmont University in Nashville, TN formed a business called Spring Back Recycling to achieve 2 social goals:

(1) recycle steel, foam and other materials from discarded mattresses
(2) create jobs for previously incarcerated men

Their program is off to a tremendous success.  They entered their business in the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) competition and won the U.S. championship.  They will represent the United States at the SIFE World Cup competition on October 1 and 2 in Washington, DC.
