ISPA Builds Relationship with Mattress Retailer Community

Early in 2008, ISPA´s Executive Committee held the first-ever Mattress Industry Leadership Summit, with CEOs from leading mattress retailers to explore how all industry sectors can collectively expand the market for new mattress sales.

Among the Summit´s major accomplishments was the formation of a new Mattress Retailer Council that will provide a forum for industry manufacturers, suppliers and retailers to discuss how to increase overall consumer demand for mattresses, and to work on other common industry issues.

The Council is taking an active role in the development of two major new industry initiatives--a Mattress Industry Sustainability Initiative and a National Marketing Campaign.
