Proactive Advocacy to Support the Industry
ISPA takes a lead role in representing the interests of the mattress industry at the federal, state, and local levels of government. The Association maintains a watchful eye on legislative and regulatory developments and informs members about how these issues can affect their businesses. ISPA monitors issues of specific interest to the industry such as flammability, product safety and liability, environmental restrictions, national bedding laws, and more. ISPA also regularly works with the media to add balance and accuracy to stories about mattress safety, bedbugs, and other issues. ISPA acts as the key point of contact and speaks on behalf of the industry—removing members’ brands from the spotlight on sensitive issues.
